Smile Billy Connolly's World Tour Of N.Z

Watched Billy in N.Z last night. You have probably already seen it over there. It is such a good format for a show. I like travel programs; so it combines that and his great comic genius together (pity about all the bad language tho)..[I'm a wowser, I know].
Anyway, he rides a trike on his trip. I didn't pick up on what donk it had in it; Harley? Cool machine.
If you haven't seen the show, do yourself a favour and have a squiz.
Anyone else that has seen it like to comment and have astab at what he was riding?

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

He had a HD powered trike for the "world tour of Australia" but I reckon the NZ trike had a Jap motor - looked too neat and integrated to be a Hoggley.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

"Too Old to Die Young" (which is what his tour was officially called).
I think it was in honour of being over 60.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

Yeah, it's Jap. We already had this discussion a few munce ago. IIRC, it is a Yamaha.

    Thumbs up

I have yet to see it. I do have it on DVD as my Mum bought it with her for me when she came over from the UK. Must find a bit of time to sit down and watch it. It doesn't say on the cover anything about the bike but I think the other guys have answered that.

I have travelled a fair bit of NZ myself so am looking forward to seeing this.

Maybe if there are any Wellington KBers interested I could do a beer and Connolly in NZ night!! Could involve

It would have to be in a few weeks due to my job and the Lions being over but if anyone is interested PM me and I will start working on a plan.

    All the best

    Taz

A big Thank you to Marty at typeface for sponsoring me to have a go in my first race

Thanks to Steven at kittyosheas for building the computer program we're using at the sprints and the Hill Climb.

Contact Troy at actioncamz for DVD quality on board video
