Does it stay or does it go?

    got an early evo electrglide

had it about 12 years has proved to be about 99% reliable and far better than any othe rbike I have ever owned

have ridden it around nz, around the states and around europe

its worth fu*k all as nobody wants this model

I just don't ride it any more, done about 500 miles on it over the last 12 months as I have other priorities and other bikes

takes up too much room in the garage

basically it only really gets used properly about once every 2-3 years when I get to a european rally

    should I

    sell it

    break it for parts

chop it and use it as the basis for a custom bike

    moth ball it

do nothing and just use it when I can't be bothered getting anything else out of the shed

    ideas and suggestions

Leave it on the street in view of a time lapse camera, and take sweeps on how long it takes to go missing.
Anywhere in the norf island, 9 hours.
    South island 72 hours.

He did say early EVO so it may date back to 84,

Still, There are plenty of punters who would jump all over a cheapish HD so it must be worth at least 9 or 10 grand.....

Dont cut it up. sell it There are many people that would love to have one.

Stick it on trademe with a low starting bid and a very "optimistic" reserve - the auction probably won't make the reserve but you'll get an idea of interest and price and the low start will probably draw a few bidders out of the woodwork.

Then you can think about whether or not you really want to sell it.

Shit, if it was an 84' buy it for 9 grand

1984 was a magical year for me.

And unfortunately I don't have the cash to get a harley 10K+ without putting it on finance and I ain't planning on being in debt!
