Proliferation of wire barriers in the south

I decided that winter wasn't going to stop a southern biker doing what he loves...so I went for a ride through the Cromwell gorge. 8 degrees (celcious) and some sunshine with blue sky. A few clouds to keep the heat down in some places in the gorge. Traffic was horrific (sunday drivers) and the attached photo shows the wire barriers so prolific in this region.

I envy you. Fact of the matter is, you will get them. The cheesecutters I mean. Hopefully this campaign will keep them from reaching you. Your support is noted. Thanks.

I had hoped that is what you meant...

Too late... they are here (serious) will show photo's at a later time. The gorge is full of them...a few cages have gone into them, no bikes that I am aware

No, those are sheep head holders provided by the NZ Tourism board to cater for Aussie tourists....

I still wouldn't want to hit them at 100kph... I should know years back, I did hit a fence and in all seriousness I was lucky it didn't loose my head...
