So far the stats. are running at 96% backing up this theory.
S'funny - I thought I was the only one that thought this...

Clearly there is some validity to this theory!

As she was "blonde" maybe she thought the seatbelt was to protect the seat, so as long as the seat is protected then she is safe..

    Confused

Didn't think blondes could think!! Maybe will try and educate them in future.

Have found that gesticulating and sticking my boot out when pillioning really does help cage drivers to realise that they have fooked up and may end up with a pretty little dent in thier car if they get any closer!

We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have you found? The same old fears.
    Wish you were here. QWQ

Glad to see someone else uses this educational method!

As for seatbelts. Who wouldn't use them???
Every time I strap an aircraft to my back, they are bloody useful! Cages are exactly the same.

while out driving on saturday we noticed alot of slower drivers but the level of stupidity seems to have gone up to make up for the lack of speed. The amount of drivers we saw going up offramps at the last second (from other lanes often cutting off more than one lane of traffic to get there) was astounding, let alone all those who left their indicator at home, and the one clown who indicated one way to go the other, we couldnt work that one out but stayed well clear! At least he was using it, unlike the other numptys out there.

That's because Annette King & Co have convinced them that they are all in a Volvo-like cocoon of safety if they just don't break the 100km/h barrier. Under that they can do anything at all and no matter how stupid they won't get hurt.....it says so on TV so it must be true....

I too subscribe to this theory. Have you also observed the increased amount of greenhouse gasses emitted by said be-stickered cages, compared to the average? I'm always amazed when I see old Lada's, VW beetles & kombi's etc belching smoke down the road and yet they are covered with save the earth/whales/mum/green party etc stickers.

I cant go out without my seatbelt on. It just feels so wrong. I tried it a while ago and got five metres down the road before I put it on (just wanted to see what it felt like). Its like riding a bike without a helmet (any type of bike) just feels wrong.

x 2 it's automatic for me....to the point that I often hop into the car to move it in the drive way etc and find myself reaching for the safety belt to move a few feet, lol.

*adds save the whales sticker to the back of the bike*

It's because us hippie chicks are so happy all the time we're off in a dream world where the whales are dancing through fields of flowers and everybody lives in peace and harmony

And then you bikers go and wake us up with your stoopid horniness

It would seem the more stickers the more dangerous it is to be anywhere near the car whilst it is motion (I qualify near as in some cases same city but that's an aside), the one I have take a sever dislike to is the dam cd's hanging in windows reflecting light in random directions, anyhow ....

    Well done Donor.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

If a whale was in a field of flowers - wouldn't it if suffocating and heading towards a terrible death?

OHH you poor FOOLS. The stickers aint due to any bra tearing desire to support greenpeace . The stickers are free. The reason for so many is they cover the dings and rust spots on the cars.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
