I was interested to hear from someone who was selling one as to their reasons, as there does seem to be a lot of these for sale on the used market, especially compared to the amount sold new. Just wondering if there are issues that someone like Mountlocal should be aware of.

I'm selling mine as I want a KLR650. Can't afford both.

Nothing wrong with the Z1000, on paper it's heavy but doesn't feel it on the road. Much lighter feel than my ZRX1100 which was only 5kgs heavier on paper.

I think the new model and everyone changing bikes is the main reason there's a lot on the market. It's not like they get written off within six months like GSXRs...
