What makes a good rally is good people, and enjoying being there with them. I met some awesome folk at the brass and would like to catch up again this year if I am not off to Oz for a holiday with the family then. But the Cold Kiwi has to be one for me great family time to be had with the displays and events. I'll have to try the cold duck to get some objectivity on the matter.

Krusti and I are heading down for our first time . Taking a couple of weeks to look around sth isl and going to wild food festival in Hokitika which is weekend after hare.

Well i've only done the sulphur city rally once and the cold kiwi 3x. Although i have yet to experience any of the others the cold kiwi gets the from me. This year was especially great as it didn't piss down with rain and IT SNOWED For a born and bred northlander from the tropical bay of islands waking up to white stuff falling out of the sky on saturday morning was magic. What i enjoy most of all is the atmosphere, it's diehard bikers without wanky attitudes (that i noticed at the summer rally). Any newbies on here i recommend the cold kiwi experience!
