I think fireball underestimates how much 250s are worth.

chucked it on there for auction no bids, my fixed offer was 3600 ill prob list it again then if not sold bite the bullet and trade in

Find out exacty what the trade value is!!!

Then put it on trademe with the trade value as the starting price. Every dollar over that is a dollar you don't pay for your new bike.

Everybody knows that tradein values are low because the bike shops need to make money on your bike to stay in business, so I'd be sure that it would attract plenty of atttention with that as the starting bid.

.... back in green and feeling great ....

Trade me $1 reserve is ok but then you end up with dickheads asking stupid questions, namely why $1 reserve, and what's wrong with it?Also you need a back up bidder incase it looks like it will sell for say $1500.Know of a guy who did the same, but close to end of auction he was looking at losing $3000 as car was worth $8500 and the bid for 4 days was $5500,he had a mate bid to $6000 on condition the sale was null and void if the mate won, turned out another two got into bidding war and sold for $9000.

If you think it is worth $3,000 then why did you set the reserve to $3,200 ?
