Maybe LTSA should change the slogan to be "drive to the conditions, if they change increase your speed"?
The coppers in Kapiti did an article in the local rag on how they were 'reducing the road toll' by cruising around in GA aircraft, scoffing donuts and then reporting on speedsters, etc to cars full of donut eaters
Funnily, they were photographed in front of a Cessna 172, which is kinda like the flying equivalent of something as boring as a mid 80s 600 (like a GSX600F). They then claimed that no one could outrun it as it does 500kph. What BS, it couldn't even do that in a vertical dive into the ground, all porkers a howling
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes
Hey Dodgy, the plane is in the air, not running along the road mate.
A 172 Cessna will still do just over 200 km/h at cruise, it would still see where you're are ...
The only manual ones they have are the rural trucks and the SS Commodore i saw while driving down the motorway last week. Dark green, the guy was driving it like it was his own car.
Yeap i seen those suckers too. They also have/had Mazda 6 wagons, both the 98 and 2000 style Maximas.
Those light look real good. Was chatting to the policeman at Big Boys Toys last year and he said it was over $800,000/yr in fuel costs. Those cop cars sure are comfy, they got all the bling in those rides.
Winding up drongos, foil hat wearers and over sensitive KBers for over 14,000 posts...........![]()
" Life is not a rehearsal, it's as happy or miserable as you want to make it"
