Those bars still look a bit low for a VFR, and a standard swing arm

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

If they had any common sense they would bring back the RC30, updated to todays technology and there, right there, the 1000's would have a run for their money.

Food for thought: But is the RC30 so desirable not only because its abilities but due to the fact its so rare?

Yes possibly, but they are still an AWESOME bike. I'd have one over some brand new gixxer anyday.

If you follow the thread to the bottom it is clear that it's just a BS photoshop job. The picture about halfway down is of a new Suzuki scooter. (Breathes sigh of relief) They had me worried for a sec.
I am desirous of an RC 30 (looks at large framed image of said bike on office wall ) and I'd have one even if they weren't rare. It is simply a gorgeous machine, reputedly with handling (for its time) to match. I just wouldn't keep it in the lounge.

my NC30 (the 400 version) whoops all over my gsxr in the handling dept!

one can only imagine what the 750 must have gone like

would be dam cool to see a SPORT version of a V4 800/1000(yknow, like their motogp bikes)

it would probably be stupidly fast and cool though, which is not the refined honda thing(refined and boringish), resulting in them never releasing it.

Apparently, the RC30 and RC45 both handled very nicely, but the standard RC45 was not overly impressive power-wise against the likes of GSXRs, ZXRs, etc until you spent a bazillion dollars on the genuine HRC race engine.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

    Makes interesting reading........

"2009 will be a special year and one of commemoration for Honda since the Japanese firm will be celebrating its 60th birthday, and that is why without a shadow of doubt 2009 has been chosen for the appearance of new models and others that will have been revamped, important models like the new VFR."

They have got a good point there.......

If they put the bars and blade in real tour position like on my 1990 VFR750 and "Roxanne" (CBR1000FL), leave the single sided swing arm there, up the power (mmm V5 1000, hope it sounds as good as the VFR750 did), that would be a bike I could really go for (at the right price of course).
