And - HH Media reports:

Budds Creek round of the AMA this morning and the good news is Cody Cooper was 4th in qualifying for this mornings line-up.

In Moto 1 he was 5th and the first Suzuki home - how far away is that full factory ride ? Stewart's domination continued with a 29 second win. The top 10 order was Stewart, Ferry, Short, Hill, Cooper, Millsaps, Byrne, Wey, Alessi (Jeff) and Skinner.

Moto 2 and Coops was 5th again. Top 10 was Stewart (18secs), Ferry, Short, Byrne, Cooper, Hill, Wey, Albertson, Paul Carpenter and Jeff Alessi.

Coops and Byrne were both on 32 points but Byrne had run 7th and 4th so he won 5th. Hill was in 4th only one point away.

So after 7 of 12 rounds Coops is 9th overall.
