Im not looking for any $$$ - only payment to have the bike checked out and any damage done to it. Its not a profit making exercise.
Yeah - Im kinda happy with myself for keeping it upright - 260kgs would have been a issue should it had started gone over. I was pushed several meters forward - I reckon she hit me doing about 30km.
Yep - I got her details.
And yes - the helmet stunt was stupid. Im off to buy a cheap spare tomorrow when I collect the new one.
Gubb - I made comments in the N103 thread in bike gear. I cannot fit itthe face is way closer then the N102 and I have to pull my jaw back just to fit it. But on the bright side - I picked up a Shark RSR2 full face - the reviews for that helmet are awesome - so Im pretty happy. Plus its really bright with reflectors - should make me more visable to silly cows in cages than my current matt black one.
Thanks for the offers of help BTW - really appreciated.
I hadnt thought of contacting the police - but you all who recommend it make a good point. Silly thing is her daughter rides a bike and was hurt by a cager - so apparently she is more aware of bikers ..... TUI.
So Ill lodge a compaint - I believe I have 48 hours for a no injury accident.
yeah - but Im trying to lose weight.
Thanks for the nice comments BTW.
Update - Rode the bike to Holshot. First impressions are no damage - although it seems to make some new noises - Rob (workshop manager) is going to give it a good going over tomorrow.
But - no scary moments riding there or the loaner back (apart for not finding first on the loaner at the lights and quick panic that the car behind me was going to take off into my back) - so Ive not lost confidence in being able to ride (not to be mistaken for overconfidence). So on that front Im happy. Its true - you have to get back on that horse (or M50)
