The run of luck keeps going - I have managed to put 12 kms on the loaner since picking it up.

Like an idiot - I assumed that it had some gas and would last me from Takapuna to Albany return. (I actually checked to make sure it wasnt on reserve and I mis-read what end the arrow was on - note to self has eyes checked)

So this morning 200meters from where I was hit yesterday I ran out of gas

So down to the station had to buy a container ($21.99 + $10 for the bike) - missed 2 meetings for work.

Ive only run out once before when I was about 16 and put $2 in my mums old Alegro LOL.

Grub so understands this (running outta gas that is) ... so does Kendog ... I learnt from Kendog to always fill a loaners tank when you pick it up or you end up waiting on the motorway for assistance.

I ran out of gas yesterday in the tron to. I used my AA membership to get the AA man to bring me out some gas. Waited about 3/4 of an hour and i had to pay pump price for the gas. I was happy with that.

Serious question - lets assume that there is no charge for looking over the bike, and no damage done.

So Ive only lost a couple of hours and received a scare.

On what grounds could / would you ask for $$$ - I cant see any justification / reason to do so - its just one of those things.
