    Sounds like some fun
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Definatly a car engine - check out the left side drive case, that's covering a bellhousing mount and car clutch/torque converter. Most likely a French engine, they make some small diesel turbo's,or maybe a VW if it's German.

The sump's got me puzzled alright, that's a lot of work, but then that big left case is some work too.Special cover over the crank nose where the belt pulley goes and a cambelt drive cover - but that sump looks factory, not a pattern someone carved out of a piece of polystyrene.

    Anybody speak Dutch??

I'm no linguist but it looks like Dutch to me. Apparently it's a race bike. From the startwin.com pages:

My cage is a 2.4L diesel turbo and I'd be really depressed if my bike was diesel also.
