Savante get your restricted as soon as you can, so your full will be closer and open up your options. But do it at your own pace, your still a spring chicken I didn't get back into it till my 40's and enjoying every minute of it 15000k in the first year

Thanks 'Timeout'... Yeah some days i feel older than others haha But what better way to cover up the odd new gray hair than with a helmet right?

Yeah i have a feeling once i do get a bike the k's will rack up quickly which is why i was thinking of going cheap to start with as I may have the urge to upgrade once i get a few 1k's & a restricted under my belt.

    Seriously.
It is a relief to know of someone else who has heard of the Zeal. No-one seems to know alot about it but it is a beautiful bike (in my opinion anyway )

It's not only a beautiful bike, but the nicest 250 to ride that I've ever tried.

(Hey, check it out, no facial hair! )

Do a search on the forum for 'Zeal'. Quite a few of us have owned one; there's a fair amount of relevant commentary.

    hey!

Yeha i have met a couple of friendly folk on here already which is one of the great things about bike in my opinion, is that (generally) everyone is very friendly.

I've been in the car scene in the past for many years but I just got sick of all the wankers. It was always 'my cars better than your car' stuff and there was never the same sense of community.

Ever since following my interest in bikes, i 've only met friendly, helpful people. I've enjoyed many conversations with my clients about bikes (never knew so many were into them!) - now its a stretch to talk about work when they come in! haha

Hope you have a great experience on here and on your future bike adventures!

one riding secret is to go as fast and aggressively as possible.
when taking off give your bike full throttle and dump the clutch

My friend in Auckland was selling hers recently on trade me. It was a nice bike and went well. I thought it was a good looking bike - shame i didn't have the coin to buy it off her at the time...*sigh* ... oh well...

It was on trade me for around the 4k mark i think. It was a teal blue one. Originally bought from Red Baron. I think it's sold though

Haven't seen it on there and because she just moved I dont have her new contact details yet to find out...
