    Attention Danger

    i plan on getting in touch next week but thought i'd ask now, am i able to replace these to cracked components or is the shock buggered?

    That can be replaced what year shock? I will have a look in my old bits box but you might need to get that off a dealer. I wonder why it cracked tho? Did the spring have no preload on it or something?

    OK just checked my box I don't have a lot of old parts and I don't have one of those. Opps edit the shock does need to come apart to replace that bit, was looking at the other part of the retainer. The top part has a gap and can be removed without pulling the shock apart but the other part needs at least the nitrogen discharged and the clevis removed.
    Call Scott you might need to get one off Kawasaki, probably ex Japan.

    OK I've seen shock shafts bent from this so check that as well, or I will check it if I fix it for you.
    Also check the clevis isn't bent or cracked.

    dont think its bent but cause of the bigger ring cracking it deffinatly wasnt centred!

    whats the cost of re-valving the forks on crf450r, mine seem to very hard compared to one that i had a skid on a crf450 that had been done by you, damm it was nice in the front, i think my shocks are in my arms lol,
