OK just checked my box I don't have a lot of old parts and I don't have one of those. Opps edit the shock does need to come apart to replace that bit, was looking at the other part of the retainer. The top part has a gap and can be removed without pulling the shock apart but the other part needs at least the nitrogen discharged and the clevis removed.
Call Scott you might need to get one off Kawasaki, probably ex Japan.
[QUOTE=Danger;1644584]OK I've seen shock shafts bent from this so check that as well, or I will check it if I fix it for you.
Also check the clevis isn't bent or cracked.[/QUOTE
dont think its bent but cause of the bigger ring cracking it deffinatly wasnt centred!
