Try Kevin at Key Motorcycles, he has at least one in race condition, and a few more in various states I believe.

And then bring your TVC to Images in Auckland and I'll edit it for you

Yep, I was going to suggest this also - he's got a fleet of TZ's in the shop, I think he may have a RD or two, or will probably know where to get one.

If that doesn't work, I know where there's a mint RD400 (the "F" model I think, or maybe "G") - if you need it PM me and I'll get in touch with the owner for you (he's Chch based)

Thanks for the 400 offer but I really need a rd350, not that I'd know the difference but am sure plenty of people would.

RD350LC or an air cooled model?

Yeah, I'd be keen to know this too. Will we be likely to see it on NZ tv?

Mike Pero used to ride/race RD's you know......

Just reading the original post - I hope that was supposed to be wellie (as in fast) and not wheelie. Otherwise making a tv commercial of a bike being abused on public roads and showing it to most of NZ would give exactly how much extra credability to New Zealand motorcycling ?
The contents of this post are my opinion and may not be subjected to any form of reality

    Don't be so anal.

How many ads do you see with cars obviously going over the speedlimit? Of course they have that "filmed under controlled conditions"/"filmed on closed road" disclaimer underneath, as I'm sure he will if it's being filmed on a public road.

But I don't remember him saying it even was. It could be out at ruapuna or on a private road for all you know.

Back to the topic at hand:

Is there a classic bike club down here? If so, maybe one of their members has one you could get your hands on.
