Perfection is not something you should ever attain, but something to always strive for. For if we actually achieve our idea of perfection, is it then any longer perfect?
Holy cow that's INSANE!!![]()
THE FOUR RULES OF EXPLORING THIS AMAZING COUNTRY OF NZ
RIDE SAFE, RIDE HARD, RIDE FREE
and try not sound so route 51 american brudda
That's pretty crazy. I'm sure that would come under the consumer guarantees act or something???
I rode my trusty GN all they way around the South Island, including about 1200km worth of gravel and offroad conditions, and it was fine, I just took care of it properly, I think you will find that many of the people that say "oh i did'nt do anytihng to it and it just fell apart" don't really care for their bikes, a good wash and wax once in a while makes a huge difference to the appearance of your bike in a year! Also my GN was a 2007 chinese one so that makes no difference, a little bit of love and attention goes a long way, in all aspects of life!

haha I reckon, man thats random. Bikes don't need wax to prevent corrosion .. or at least they didn't..
My '87 gsxr750 hasn't a speck of rust on it. I've looked, and thats just a home painted kept in a garden shed in invercargill knock about. My RG150 from 98 has some signs, and a bit of pitty/corroding on the fork tubes high up in the triples
Looks like i'll stick with the older ones.![]()
yea but for three grand brand new you have to expect that its gunna need a bit of looking after. Its all about expectations, you can't buy a GN and expect it to perform of last the same as a higher end bike, its just not realistic. Is there any chrome on your Beemer? how much did you buy it for?? all of these things are factors that people have to understand when buying something like a GN
Keeping your bike clean should make no difference, but waxing will. Yet who waxes the fork stanchions, for example?
With the Chinese GNs...nothing you do will stop the corrosion. Some are worse than others, but this one is as bad as it gets. The owner is having a laugh over the price? Surely? Or did s/he miss the . ? ie $33.00
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
what planet u on. Ya pay ya money u should not have to put up with this.
Strange how a heap of people jumped up and down about Peanut Butter being made in Japan and Sanitirium stopped making it there. Now produced in Oz.
Geez u would probably be happy eating dogshit cause it cheaper.
yea with a chinese bike that costs three grand there are gunna be a few bad ones but you can do things to prevent corrosion, just a normal wash will help the forks and those bits and peices. I just don't think its reasonable when people expect a 3000 junker to live up to the same standards as a race bike like a GSXR or a higher end manufacturer such as BMW

Just left the owner a message to go to Fair Go, see if Mr Suzuki will come to the party after abit of national TV exsposure.

He only wants $3,300 for it. Good luck to him/her I say!.
