i'm looking at buying a kdx200/220 and have found one that i like it has a seized front brake caliper though, how much would another one be and who would i get it off? or would it be better finding a different bike that is ready to ride?

is the caliper absolutely knackered?
or does it just need a strip and clean up + new seals?.
It ain't that hard to rebuild em.

not sure. it just says it has seized
had to strip and rebuild one of mine on my old KDX200.
had to take in to an engineers to get them to drill out the brake pins,
they were siezed solid.(didn't want to risk doing it myself)
Stripped and cleaned up the rest tho.
worked good as new(ish) afterwards.

I have the very same job to do on my kdx250(93).
I was going to drill out pins and then strip down - Im just waiting for brake pads to wear down(caliper still works). I will fit a new rotor as well.
Whether you think you can or cant - you will always be right.
