Ive run out of fucks to give
There's one in the back of my jacket, better'n nothing, but I plan to get one to fit in the pocket provided for the purpose, or else a strap-on one.
Now that my wife's seen them being worn by TS and co, I think she wouldn't object to us buying them, plus some elbow, shoulder, and knee armour for her (her leathers have only foam).
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()
I wear mine all the time. It saved me from a sore back more than once

Mine is part of my spyke jacket and it does make for a improved ride. However I probably would not bother if I did not have the jacket.Originally Posted by Skyryder

if you mean a back protector, that slips into your jacket -then yep, if you mean a back protector that straps onto the body, like a corrset, then nope.
I use mine if i'm going for a ride, but if i'm just heading into town then i wont.
I used to think the one in my jacket was good enough, but get some one to hit you in the back the a sledge hammer and see if you think it'll help you when you hit a post at 100kmh??
hmm you'll not likely be around in any capacity if you slam into a post at 100kmh!Originally Posted by shawda

my textile jacket has integral armour and a back piece of foam.
If I am going to Akaroa for coffee I wear my downhill mtbing body armour under my old leather jacket.
My problem is I desperately need some decent leather pants (or leathers) with proper knee armour and hip and sacrum (sp?) lower back thingy protection.
thats why I will be in Woods tomorrow.... looking for pants.
