I always like the reaction from people when Gassit Girl pulls up on her bike and removes her helmet.... surprised looks!
My previous bikes the GSXR750 and GSXR1000 got many nice comments, but the big M109R leaves them in the dust. I get comments, compliments, waves from cars. People regularly walk up and ask about it.
i usta get a lot of attention when i rode the triumph bonne ....... mostly greybeards saying "I had a bike JUST like that when ................."

The SV gets a fair bit off attention, probably mostly due to the exhuasts, and the occaaaaaasional wheelie here and thereit is sexy, black and naked tho so its a bit of a triple threat!
All the guys want to ride it as soon as they hear it , the ladies just want to sit on it
I have the exact same thing happen... will be following hubby on his HD that gets everyone's attention due to the loudness and then they look at me and they do that .... double neck cracking look thing andand say OH MY GOD ITS A CHICK RIDING!!!!
Its like I've invented the idea!!!!! Always cracks me up!! Disappoints my man when he realises I stole his attention!
I just fear the potentialmoment while everyone is staring at me...

Yeah cops pay too much attention to me. When I had my BMW K100RS I had a hicktown cop stop me - just a road block - he got the shock of his life when I took off my helmet and found out I was a woman - said he'd never known a woman to ride a bike before (??!!) he was in his 50s. Big Bike for a woman - as he looks up at me - well hello I'm not pint size by any means - he also asked me how I could afford a beemer.
One of the scariest moments I've had was on a loan bike gn250 riding from the Hutt into Wellington. No power - light, too small for me, it was windy. I take my hat off to people that can ride them.
When I've been on my camping tours and I'm having a coffee break I get alot of old guys reminiscing about their own bikes. I enjoy listening to them.
Teenage girls are interesting - usually in awe - I fully encourage them and say you too can ride - get your licence and work your way up to a bike you are comfortable with.
God I miss my bike. 3 more months and I WILL get a Dr's clearance lol.
