Rain is alright as long as you adjust your riding style for it. Wet and windy down here today but I really enjoyed my ride in to work this morning.

What? Its simple logic really. Why do something you don't enjoy when there are warmer more comfortable alternatives? Seems pretty clear cut to me.

I did the math. My Bike was $6 dearer per month than taking the train, got me there in half the time, and i didn't need to walk for 20 minutes at the end.
So yeah, i take my bike. Moving closer to work soon though.

Also it's kinda fun riding past all the stopped cages. And the weathers not that bad, usually pretty good at 7 in the morning, and rains when i get to work.

Oops. I forgot the "must attack that which I fear to comprehend" motto of KB.

    Never mind.

    Carry on.

    Nothing to see here.

Couldn't have said it better myself!

As you see, I quite enjoy riding my bike when I get the chance, so rain/hail/shine I ride, as that is what I enjoy

Can't say I'm a fan of the rain and this yuk weather - and because I have a company cage don't usually have a need to ride.

However, I was on the bus today to pick up the broken (now fixed) cage and I cold, wet and freezing - more so than I would have been on the bike. Just wouldn't look right hopping on to a bus with ya bike gear on!

    Or would it????

Well, I don't have a car license so I'm sorta forced to ride whatever the weather.

I have no problem with riding in the rain though, it's good fun. Keeps you on your toes when cagers pull out on you left, right and centre.

Just today I had one cager change lanes right into me, I went into the flush median heading towards a cgaer sitting there waiting to turn, flick of the wrist to get infront of numb nuts that turned into me and a quick duck under flush median cager.

Makes the boring rides to work exciting and death defying.

I don't have a car license either, and have no intentions of getting one

the only choice i have is what bike do i take......

rain is all good, hail is fine, ice and snow all good but wind.... that scares me a little bit but ill still ride!
I've learnt to hide the pain inside, open the throttle and ride away.
