Ummmm no... never heard back from Hesslers ,thats why theres no crash bars included. Murray Thorn motorcycles ( in little old Motueka) got the bits . They couldn't do an oversize piston so I have to re-sleeve.
Support the locals where I can, and we're on a first name basis

I'll wait for the bank balance to recover before I have another go @ Hesslers

If it is a genuine sleeve it is generally just a matter of pressing the old one out and dropping the new one in. generally you can heat the barrel or freeze the sleeve or both and just drop it in. Sometimes the sleeve is semi-finished and requires boring and honing after it is fitted.

Btw i see Schnitz racin now have the 705cc kit available for sale for klrs.(sorry to hijack)
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Moto x parts (they're doing the XT) in Hawks bay have said they can do it, and so has Precision re-grinds in Nelson, they already have the head.I would rather keep it local if I can.
How long till riding time ? I don't know, parts are 2 weeks away, ex Japan, then re sleeving, then re-assembly

Anyhooo, off to Blenhiem this morning to pick up the boys new/old ride

    nice mate looks bloody good.
i saw those a few months ago, ive been tossing up between tank cover or rikkicross bars, but i desperately needed boots so i bought those instead.
will see how i go saving over the next couple of months, would be great to get both, the tanks had a few very minor rubs so i guess its only a matter of time before, hopefully get it sorted beforehappens.

how ya going down there in the Naki has the black ice buggard off yet

Just used the existing as well as blinkers etc. It happened because the factory toolbox decided to go for a little adventure on its own so there was a big hole under the carrier, I went bugger me I'll shove a light in there and call it factory.
