Has anyone experimented or obtained or manufactured a front headlight protector for the DR750s? I was looking at the metal bracket kind with the cross hatched wire, I think it would look quite good. I bet those lamps are expensive to repair? Does the DR650 lamp fit the DR750s? Anyone know?

Just put a headlight skin on it. Just sticks on and absorbs the shock of any stone hits. You could do about 4 headlights with the normal car sized pack.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Spare parts bike for the 750s, or a good project...I like this one, thing is, it is in CHCH. Might be interested, if I get this I can say goodbye to the Dusty.. for this year...Hmm, decisions to be made.
Anybody on here got their eye on it, if not I'll take it under my wing and offer it a nice home with other easygoing mature fat pigs
I seem to have an addiction with bikes with big tanks
Is there a cure or am I doomed

Bugger someone in Chch got it. Wish I had seen that earlier as a mate in Hamiltron is looking for a cheap adv bike and quite likes the Bigs, that wouldn't have suited him perfectly.

Nice info Dino, cheers....I wanted to paint my rims Suzuki survival orange to match the engine, gave up in the end, wouldn't last....Have to say though, I am impressed with the bikes handling and endurance for a 22 year old girl...
I want more 22 year olds...
