Mate thats the last photo of my bike before she ended up on her RHS and LHS in the same day, poor girl. She stood back up and kept going tho, if it was the Bimmer I would probably still be crying.Gettin a tad upset about this weather tho, there's that much ice on the road (live under the mountain) that the old girl is sittin in the shed gettin a flat battery!!!

If the objective of getting off the bike at the end of the ride is that yourself and the bike become seperate entities, then I succeeded beyond all expectations

I love Kathmandu, they make such nice warm stuff. Thermal undies Poofter grips and heated footrests, I like bimmers, even if they can be difficult to dismount

I have seen pics on advrider where guys have fitted highway pegs to their bikes. Often just with some pegs from a wrecker a set of pipe clamps round the frame.

Guy here in Chch has highway pegs on a DR650. Bit of RHS clamped to the twin tube bit of the frame in front of the engine with folding pegs bolted to some tabs. Take ya 10 mins in the shed JMJ.

ive seen photos of some BIGs with foot rests added to the crash bars, will look into it more when i get me some crashbars, would be good for the longer tar sections, bit like a harley only faster
