Where to buy a fluoro safety vest in Auckland?

I buy mine at the industrial safety places. RSEA is the one I go to , who I can recommend, but there are many others.

I prefer to get a heavier duty item not the cheap thin vests. Look for good heavy duty zippers, not strips of velcro

You can also get full fluoro jackets padded or unpadded. These are also wind and wataerproof and offer quite adequate crash protection around town

Props for a sensible attitude, but don't count too much on hi-vis. It's not as effective as it used to be , because so many people now wear them; lots of cagers still "won't see you"; and for some the hi-vis just makes you a hi-vis target.

I recon there should be a tail-end charlie, on the Westpac ride, who is issued a pole with a hook on the end of it. The pillion can "scoop up" all the rogue vests that seemed to have appeared on the road...

Does an item of "safety equipment" cancel out any risk, if left in a dangerous location???

Thanks for all the suggestions. The ones at my local $2 shop were actually $3.50...wot a rip off. They were also not so bright.

While I was at the ware house this afternoon (Looking for a bike L plate- which they didn't have) I spotted what seems to be an OK one for $10 bucks. Grabbed the small size which is actually pretty large but will be OK over all the top of my gear. They also had M, XL, 2XL and 3XL. I never ever want to scratch the car of the guy who fits the 3XL!.

The 1,2 3 dollar shop had some there in Glen Innes today, (where I got my sented candles) from lol.
They also had reflecterized L plates there too.

Many thanks cos my next question was going to be where do I get a motorcyle L plate? Because, none of the local places listed on the LTSA web site that I checked today stock them.
