It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

i saw one of those at a sound of thunder a few years back, all hush and knowing looks as it was proudly rolled off the trailer etc.the smart money said it would be showing everything a clean pair of heels that weekend.

LMAO the only thing it showed was how the Italians should leave two strokes to the Japanese,it was slower than most of the 500 BSA singles

Last i heard it was still around, but the owner doesnt race it anymore

I'll bet you $50 that if he manages to get his hands on one he'll be trading it on a GSXR1000 in short order and will never, ever look at another Italian bike. Which is deeply unfair to most Italian bikes but representative of why Bimota should have died in '92.

As the slogan for my largely unsuccessful range of slippers/running shoes goes: "Just don't do it."

No he will be stuck with it. Why would they trade it. Shops do trades to make a profit.

It's to be an ornament not something that'll be ridden

He's got the TC & a 72 XB GT Falcon already and is also looking at purchasing a limited edition SS Camaro form the US, so another addition to the collection isn't an issue.

Actually have been trying to persuade him into the XLCR Harley thats on TM

As for trading on a gixxer Don't need to trade anything when we're running a green dealership

Even as an ornament it will cost him vast amounts of money. A Bimota is the only make of motorcycle that can crash and write itself off at a standstill. Without a rider. Or an engine running. Or a wheel turning.
