For all of Stoner's whinging about Rossi's passing, that first pass by Stoner shown on this clip has him just brushing past Rossi as he went by - close racing for sure by both of them.
    Cheers

    Absolutely stunning racing.

It puts car racing to shame.

To let you all know this race will be on TV 1 this weekend

    POWERBUILT TOOLS MOTORSPORT
    Sunday 3rd August.
    TV ONE
    3pm to 6pm

Geoff Bryan is back again for another all Motorsport Sunday afternoon.

3:00pm Moto GP – Round 11 Laguna Seca - USA.
Just the main class travelled to the USA for the first of two visits they will make to the US with another one coming later this year and the first visit to the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway but for now it was the very demanding Laguna Seca tack and the famous “corkscrew” corner. Rossi v Stoner and yes it is all on at this round --- in fact that could be classed as an understatement and a big one at that.

    3:35pm World MX 1 – Round 10 South Africa.
It’s back again today the world MX 1 and more from Josh Coppins as he closes in again on the championship lead. Two great races today from the MX 1 Championship.

Tell me then sir, why it is you are spending your precious timing making posts like this on the internet? Surely the time it took you type up that message could have been used for far more productive things?

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Yeah, boring race, a couple of guys cleared out from the others and that was it. I'd rather watch taxi racing...oops, I mean V8 Supercars.

Look mate, the really amazing thing about that race was that two top riders could be dicing so hard and going so fast. Rossi and Stoner don't have much faster bikes than everyone else, they're just better riders. Oh, that and the fact that Dani Pedrosa didn't start and Jorge Lorenzo crashed out early. You can call this uncompetitive if you want, I call it fantastic racing.

I was doing the same thing at that time as I am doing whilst making this post, taking a break and enjoying a relaxing cup of tea whist browsing my favourite motorcycle related forum, I was appalled to discover that due to my non viewing of television, thus motorcycle racing on said television I was either not a real motorcyclist or missing out on some wisdom that was critical to my future as a motorcyclist.

Guess I had better get a telly and spend silly amounts of potential gas money on paid TV, I can then watch motorcycles on telly and not ride them.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

You seem quite sensitive about all this.

...much more than coming down again.

Poor Jorge. He clearly has the potential to be one of the best. If only the bike would stop high-siding him. You know a bit about avoiding highsides, jrandom, perhaps you could give him a bit of advice. Something about staying on the gas?

    S'true.

If he'd stayed on the gas last week at Laguna Seca, he wouldn't have two broken ankles right now.

I have a very comfortable armchair, and I win all sorts of races from it.

How so, I win all the races from my armchair, well hanging off it. You must be in second place JR.

Bang on about the gas though, never come off the gas in my chair and never broke my ankles.
    Oh bugger
