Surely this will go down as one of the all-time greatest tit for tat races in the four-stroke MotoGP era.

where opinion holds more weight than fact.
It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
fantastic.........
Best place to stay in Hawkes Bay here
Nearly all men can stand adversity and hard time, but if you want to test a mans true character, give him power....

That was one of the best motor racing I've EVER seen.
Anyone who hasn't seen the race and rides a bike really really needs to see this. There are heaps of torrents around.
I have deep pockets. It's just that it's a deep empty pocket...........
I wish I could get away with passing up the inside like that on the Coro Loop!

Have you watched it?
To be honest I watched some 'old' racing from the 90's (Doohan etc) and I really wish they'd get rid of the traction control bullshit. Would make things a lot more interesting.
Still, this has to rate pretty high. Rossi finally figured out how to crack Stoner, and it worked.

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"
Bowls can wait !
I was at home that day. Not a MotoGP sicky, only remembered it was on five minutes before it started.
And, as has been said, I was privileged to watch, live, the best motor race I've seen in... years.
Worth keeping.

Brilliant stuff and yes I had missed it so thanx.![]()
Oh bugger
Yeh i have to admitt the riding is good, and it was one hell of a dog fight. But my point is being that they are no longer pushing the envelope, they just make the envelope bigger.
Moto GP was suppose to change to take road bikes and make them race machines - test ridden an M1 lately? the V4 engine spec fucked this whole concept good and proper.
Don't even get me started on traction control.
Then there is the whining - political bloody nightmare.
4 stroke did to MotoGP what handbags did to rugby.
I'm not saying the bikes aren't awesome, or that the riders are fantastic - im just saying that it gets more and more like F1 and Womens weekly every season.
Reactor Online. Sensors Online. Weapons Online. All Systems Nominal.
Got it on tape well after the event but definitely a darned good battle. I was glued for the whole race...well, actually, until Stoner fell off anyway - then it was just Rossi out front on his own riding without fault.
Oooo Rossi...come to me Rossi....this won't hurt a bit

Caught the highlights, jaw just about on the ground, fantastic stuff alright![]()
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
I'm surprised to find out you can crash in a Moto GP race and still come second.
Doesn't seem very competitive if the front runners can gain such an advantage over the rest of the competitors.
OK flame me if you will but I don't need to see this or have a desire to see it, call me odd or whatever but watching motorsports on TV honestly does not float my boat, (in fact TV does nothing for me).
Rather than wasting the time it takes to watch this I could be doing several far more productive things, but thank you for pointing out some information I had no idea about when I first started riding, in order to be a real motorcyclist I need to watch motorcycle racing on TV, learnt something today.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
