    Hawke's Bay Adventure 1-2 Nov 2008

    Greetings everyone...

Further to initial discussions, I have put together a route through Central and Southern HB, for the Sat. and Sun. 1+2 November.

"Headquarters" will be, Hastings Top 10 Holiday Park, 610 Windsor ave,
    freephone 0508 427 846 .

Here is the range of accommodation available at the Hastings Top 10 Holiday Park.

Family cabins; sleep 5. $25 each ($125 unit)
Sleeping cabins; 3 people, $23 each ($70 unit)
Self contained unit; 4 people, $146 unit.
    6 person motels; $212 unit.

    Please phone 0508 427 846 to book yourselves a spot.(Fri 31 Oct, Sat 1 Nov)
Please mention " Hawkes Bay Adventure Ride " and they will know what to do.
The day would be approx 600kms long.
Start time 8am, finish late afternoon.
BBQ, drinks and lies at Top 10 upon dismount! ($10 for food?)

    The Route:
Spectacular HB roads and scenery from sea to mountain range.

A mixture of secondary tarsealed transport stages, mega twisties and
undulations connecting a variety of gravel roads. Tail-out flowing corners, hillclimbs, and some bits that will make the Motu seem easy!..We are also planning a beach section...

Sunday: 10am. Travel home (or optional 3 hour loop)

Interested? Would be glad to hear your feedback.

THIS RIDE IS 'BIG BIKE' FRIENDLY

Sounds Great! A good solid days riding followed by BBQ & beers = perfect. That weekend is a good date for me too, I'll pencil it in.

    Cheers

I might be in for this, dependant on how many days off I can give myself....who parked Auckland so far away from decent riding country!
