What an awesome weekend, well done TONY W
.
Thanks also to XR JOHNNY for keeping track of us all as tail end charlie - BART, for the southern roads with real local knowledge - MUZZA DL, for taking care of the ladies - DR GIRL, DR BLOKE & JACKIE W, for the excellent BBQ and CLINT640 for not getting us lost in the KAINGAROA forest on sunday.
I clocked up 470 kms on Saturday and 420 on Sunday, and got back to Ham at 6.15pm a very tired but happy camper.
Highlight for me was stopping the top of the mountain just before Dannevirke( what was it called Tony W ) where the wind was so strong we struggled to stand up and i could not get back on my bike, much to the amusement of CARY.![]()
The veiws were amazing.
Will post some pics later.
