Sports Cafe` - Is it just me or does anyone else hate it?

I always thought the first couple of seasons we kind of funny and entertaining. It seemed unscripted and free flowing but as the seasons went on it got worse and worse.

I see now they have brought it back and i saw an episode last night that i can only describe as like watching a slow motion car wreck...

It's the same old same old, with Rick trying to play the straight guy, mark trying to be the class clown and lana being...well typical lana, stumbling and stuttering though her lines. And as for Graham, whats the point? He's one of the few people i don't know who just makes me want to punch him square in the face!

Marks humour may have been funny once when he was a uni student but now he's just trying too hard. (Does anyone else thing he looks like richard simmons?? haha)

Rick has a face for radio and the personality of a photocopier salesman... The fact he can't speak properly also makes him a poor choice for anchor.

They even had the same old guests on there - how many times can eric rush appear on there? Didn't he last play rugby when moses parted the red sea anyway??

anyway, thats enough of my rant - i think it's just cause i feel like shit since i'm full of a cold. I don't know, it just seems like such a waste of money to keep people like that in a job *lol*

I agree with you - I wish i could have switched off, like i say it's like watching a car wreck, you know you shouldn't be watching but for some reason you can't look away. Maybe it's because in the back of my mind, i'm hoping rick will fall off his chair and break his neck... or graham will be in one of his hyperactive speels and then have a full on mental break down. haha

Yep agree,was good when broadcasted free to air via sky,and they had reasonable guests,have seen the shows this time round and don't care if I miss it,compared to it's hey day when it was not to be missed.

Lana is still a dumb blonde trying to be intelligent but comes over as name spelt backwards.(Anal).

Pretty hard to try to be twenty something people in your 40's,what worked when they were late 20's early 30's aint working now.
