just wear a moto-x helmet with the visor mounted backwords and you'll look like a proper motarder!

Anyone got an opinion on it?

    Try to avoid the Motorway?.....
KLX 250 is heaps of fun Off road,
and on all sorts of roads EXCEPT motorways......

Motorways are for commuters to go from A to B on autopilot.....
Motorbikes are to have fun getting to B.... eventualy
    (after visiting E....)

Tell me about it . Have you considered installing lower handlebars?

Yes, motoX bikes are not really designed for the motorway, low wind resistance or whose tyres are best for smooth rolling at speed.
Just being on that style of bike on a motorway looks a little silly.
But do it anyway if you want.
    Who cares.
(but if commuting is something you are using this bike for regularly maybe get another style of bike ...)

You'd probably get a sore back/neck if you did it for a while. I lie down on the tank of my sherpa (kind of similar to the KLX) to squeeze a bit more speed out of it when I am overtaking etc, but it isn't very comfortable, so I don't do it for long.

You do get used to the wind resistance over time. But, if it continues to be a problem, look at installing a small windscreen, to help deflect some of the wind off your chest.

There you go - just ride on the verges, or the central median.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Not so. Stationary, in a strong headwind, will produce the same effect.

Clip-ons would be the answer, then you would look way cool.
