But then again, some plates are only a one-off and can be an investment.

Once you've bought one, you have it for as long as you want it. Servicing / aftermarket goodies come and go and so do the bikes but the plate stays with you forever (unless you sell it).

Miss Mully is a big fan of your bike, so sing out if you want me to keep it in running condition for you during your suspension.

Not for my own benefit, mind you. Just to assist you......

All my bikes are sluts, so if you have a full licence and Star accept you on my policy, you'll be more than welcome. Edit: On occasion. No disappearing for three months with it, etc.

No puttering around, though. Betty needs her legs stretched properly.

    Heh. I'll be in touch.

TBH, Miss Mully likes the look of the pillion accomodation on it, so I'll have a chat with her and let you know.

Star should accept me, I'm with them for the RF.

I think you shouldn't care what others think. If it's "what you do" - then do it!

Never went so far as to try to buy one, but I have spent a few moments looking to see what is available. Amazing what plates people do have. Saw one the other day and it said "crminl" or really close. Great way to alert the police. Just screams out "Stop me..."

Clever plates are cool, trying to work some of them out be a bit of fun. But as mentioned before, the price, holly hell what has happened to that over the last few years. When i bought my one and only P Plate for preveous business they wer like 300 bucks and that was with a message, coloured borders and every thing. Nowadays I think there just to damn expensive.

I do have a couple of ideas for a plate but paying $750?...
I only want the one plate, but paying the price for two? I have a problem with that. If the price was $350-$400 then yeah.

I would give jrandom 5 Quid for his...whats that around $15??...

I put a plate on Hubby's bike a few years back to slow him down, but what do you know he's never got around to putting it on the RF 900R, get all sorts of excuses when I try to remind him

Have thought about it, but nothing catches my eye enough to pay the money
