I havnt been stoped on the 400. and long may it last.
I've only been stopped once in the 3 years of riding and I ride like a bit of a cunt..
The time I got stopped was 100 in a 50 indicating through traffic.. was told to slow down and let off scott free. Counted my lucky stars that day.. I think I'm running out.
Woe to You Oh Earth and Sea
For the Devil sends the beast with wrath
Because he knows the time is short
Let him who hath understanding
Reckon the number of the beast
For it is a human number
Its number is six hundred and sixty six.

Can you rephrase the question to "how often do the cops try to stop you"
Some things are worth dying for, living is one of them.
checkpointed and stopped once.
In 35 years, I've been stopped on the bike only twice where I wasn't ticketed. Once was a driver's licence checkpoint, and the other was when my MT250 had a blown taillight bulb, on account of having no battery (and no battery eliminator fitted). I knew the cop followed me on my backstreet trip, so rode with my foot resting on the brake pedal.
"Your taillight isn't working, but the brake light is."
"Oh... is that right? Huh. I'd better get a bulb tomorrow then."
"OK. Ride carefully."
Times stopped on bike for ticketing: 5. Four times for speeding in a 50km/h area, once for no mirror (just after the rules changed).
Times stopped in car: numerous. No tickets.
Never been pulled up while driving a truck or tractor or bus.
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()
Since getting my learners well over a year ago I have been stopped twice.
1. Coming out the driveway on my GN250, the cop was going down the road as I was about to come out the driveway. He gave me no reason for stopping me, except to say he wanted to check my licence, but when I said I didnt have it on me, he just told me to have a nice day.![]()
2. Going down the motorway, umm doing about 120kms (Didnt think the bandit could do it). Cop comes up to me and says "Thanks for stopping for me" and I replied "Well why wouldnt I?".Not going to do a runner on my peice of crap bike. Anyway got a fine for 20kms over the speed limit. (although I am on my learners... so isnt it 50kms over the limit?) Anyway he apologised for giving me the ticket and told me to pay it as late as possible to keep the money in the bank.
I doubt this will be the last time I get stopped, but going to make sure I stick to the limits.![]()
