What a mint day. Track was a bit slippery though. Had some big slides from the rear exiting corners which messed up the speeds onto the straights. Deano had a wee slide too but I won't steal his thunder. Great to catch up with everyone and good effort for all those who made the trip from AK Tauranga and Hamilton etc.

Damn, yesterday was awesome. Finally able to see what the CBR can do, and could've done better if I had left the fairings on. Pity I didn't get to meet most of you, maybe next time. If your going up the rimus, let me know

Yeah ..... you were right . ..I do normally ride with them on tho... I was just having a rebellious day all round I think ... No gloves ( I did put them before I left !!) and then barefoot burn-outs !! .... I might wear my hat backwards today to carry the trend on ... and even do the vacuuming in shorts !!

    Had a great weekend!!
    Thanx Hooks for your hospitality!!
The track was slippery! Had a couple of two wheel slides on the duc through the ss's, but nothing to brag about.
Only took the R1 out once, It went really good apart from the front brake. The lever was comming right back to the handle bars!! I guess the fluid could do with a change!!
Was a bit unnerving trying to slow down from 220+!
Even got to ride our 748r race bike..
    WHAT A BIKE!
That thing is on rails, bit of a flat spot mid range though.
Scuffed in my new sliders in.
Even had some tosser compaining about the sparks putting him off! (eh WT)

Good to meet all you guys and gals from up north!!
Your not such a bad lot.
I dont know why everyone keeps saying that you are.
I hope you have a little pink girls bike up north, for when I come up next time!! :spudbooge
