OK, finally my day... I had an absolute blast!!!

What a weekend.... Started of slowly with MR picking me up late (as usual) we then went for a "brisk" drive down SH1 (nnooo wasnt me getting the speedo needle off the clock ) Finally got to Hooks's place at 2am (huge thanks to you mate for letting us stay there)

Early start to the day and we got to the track at 0800... Unloaded the bikes and got checked over... then it was off to the riders brief and then time for some blasting!!!

First session saw MR taking me around the track sightseeing (Cheers for that mate) as i hadnt been there before... First impressions of the track "Dirty, with a fucking bumpy hairpin, but i love it!!!"

The next session saw me starting to get upto commuting speed... Had a few moments with braking as my brakes need rebleeding, Im sure Craig Sheriffs was thinking "why is he still going striaght when im trying to pass him around the outside???" at the end of the front straight So after those few moments i started braking at the 200 metre mark... Also has another moment on the left through the esses "DONT HIT THE BLACK PAINTED LINE!!!" and had a near highside (Which Hooks saw but no one else lol)

The session i was just working at trying to up the pace from commuting to slow, big thanks to Loosebruce who said "dont worry about the bumps in the hairpin, just go hard through them..." abit hard when you see a guy on a bike infront of you lowside there ...

In the fouth session i finally locked onto svs, he was going really quick, and i was struggling to keep with him, but i worked hard and after about 10 laps i had caught up the 50 metres and passed him (sorry that pass was a bit dodgy, thanks for giving me room )

So now i was finally getting someone to time me, and i was getting consistently low 1:23's so i reakon i did make it from commuting pace to slow pace... So here's hoping getting braided lines will save a second or 2....

Well organised day, it was awesome, great too see so many KBers....

MR and WT were flying out there (well done WT for keeping up with Glen ) oh and WT, Bruce got footage of you getting your knee down on the motard as well as the footage of the motard wheelie and the gixxer wheelie.....

Everyone was riding awesome... Especially Deano and Jimbo600, you guys were flying on road tyres.... Maybe some racetechs for the next one???

Looking forward to doing it again

Racetecs and an extra 50HP should do the trick.

Awesome day. Might have to organise a test day with timing and I'll set up cameras to record body position etc.

    Back at work now though..........drag.
