Talking Yee Ha!! First ride on the road tonight

So the FXR has recovered from my 'superman' incident... lol
Fairings are plastic welded and covered in primer (which looks like crap, but at least they're in one piece), and the lights go now
I planned to just take it from my street to the roundabout and back (maybe 1km at the most), but after I got back I wanted to go again... and then to the other roundabout (same distance in the opposite direction)... then the loop again... and then the back way home!!! (maybe 3km) I'm absolutely buzzing hehe
HAVE to get new mirrors though, the ones on it now are frightening can't see!

Yep mirrors are terrifically terrible! I've only seen one pair of aftermarket mirrors on them, and they made the bike look wierd, didn't test out the vision though lol. But yeah I hear they're hard to find. You do get used to looking under your arm though!

A few battlescars on a bike are cool especially when you're starting off. You look like you have a great attitude, keep it up should be plenty of spare parts around for FXRs they're good bikes

    Good for you!

FXRs are great bikes. I had the chance to take one for a blast and managed to overtake a couple of 109s. Couldnt get the grin off my face for days......

    Enjoy
