A satisfying night spent in the garage

My latest project was to convert the 4:1 exhaust system on GSX1400 to a beaut 4:2 standard system of an earlier model. Three months work saucing parts and and three nights toil to put it all together.
Its the simple pleasure of sitting back with a beer and admiring all the hard work and grief thats been gone through to get the result. What else is there to do on these long winter evenings
What projects are you guys up too?

I added the first ever Neptune can to a CB1300 today, not really a project but the first of a few 'improvements' my bike will have to accept. There's a number of add ons that I intend to get, all in good time. My profile pic shows the new can.

I've got a Micron can from a 750 Kawasaki to install onto the KLR650. Should go straight on once I make a header pipe, some sort of adapter to make up for the differences in pipe sizes, make some mounts, devise some sort of insert to kill the noise a bit, repack it and work ouot where to put the "Micron" decal to best advantage.
And there's not really much on TV anyway
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.
