Man... sorry to hear! But bikeless doesn't mean you are not a biker!

Well then I better get down there before the time runs out! You promised me to take me to the Bluff from Invercargill town!

    The race is on GIJOE!

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Aye, would be a pity to give the duchess the flick when shes done such sterling work for you!

    Honestly... It's a pity....

Hope the gas price doesn't reach over $3/l when you get a shiny Italian again!

    Get a Street Magic McJ...

Fun enough around town and will keep your mind amused for the time being...

Never good to hear people selling but bikes are more often a luxury...

    Hah!

I thought that....sold the Ducati 750...it's alright...I'll get a Pantah 600 in a year........finally umpteen yrs later I get an AX100...then split from the mrs, THEN I could get back into bikes, an FZR750 and making up for lost time.......

Don't worry mate, there's plenty of time for riding left.

Have fun with the kids, there great at that age (preschool), but they're greater when they leave home!

    Do Not Do It

You will never get anything like what it's worth to you.

Dont warrant it, dont register it. Jush it to the back of the garage, cover with a sheet, spend nothing on it and leave it there.

One day (pretty soon) the kids will be bigger, 'er-in-doors will be in paid employment and you will have the time, the money and the inclination to go ride...

    Been there, still doing that...

    =mjc=
    .

PS: Yeah - ping the 'Zuki - it aint worth sheet
I like the way you is thinking Jim. Luckily my missus is a biker too so she understands.

Anyone want to buy a used 750 for a new price so I can keep my Ducati?

    Been down that road McJim.
Sold my wife and kept the bitch with the sprogs.
Bitch became a real bitch and went playing with another gearstick, left me with the sprogs, but she kept the house.( fucking lawyers)
Not saying that will happen to you, you got a bike savey woman.
Wish I had parked the bike at my mums. Chained it to the spot so to speak. and put it in her name. But! Sold it to pay those bills!
Was a hard slog for the next 15 years, but I got my freedom back, with two sons as a bonus. Sadly no bike.
Ended up with a 25y old Jappa. when I could have still had the Sporty.
The bills didnt end up crippling us, we just saved in other places, but the bike was gone and in retrospect it didnt have to go.
Tighten the belt and give up some other luxuries, the ones that are not in your blood like the bike is.
The bonus will be in 10 years time, you will have the lowest milage duke around, and one you know well.

But after all that I will give you the respect you deserve. Family first, always.

We will see you at the odd event, Biking is in the blood...its a disease!

It's called Flat Red by JvB Moto of Koln (Cologne) Germany.

They've taken a late model 900ss and stripped it down then rebuilt it differently.

It's a work of art innit? I wants one.

    Way to go man!!
Not having been a rider for very long, I can understand how hard it must be to give up something that I'm sure you truely love to do.
More power to you!!! There is life after children you will have your time again.
Sadly they grow up and leave home but it is at this time that you can indulge your passion for riding once again.
Good luck with the new job.
