Check out my profile I have a few pics on there of my bike.

I have had mine since march and loving it. Got some new saddlebags from a local dealer for $170 and about to get a screen to decrease some of the wind drag once I go over 90km.
Its a great bike and my husband likes to take her out when he needs to run into town instead of his rf900 as it goes round town much better than his...lmao.
I wouldn’t be broke if the voices in my head paid rent

Which dealer? Mr Motorcycles by any chance? lol. As for the screen, i would be interested to see it after you have it put on, i may end up doing the same thing as i want to commute to palmy and back on a reasonably regular basis!

I see your just down in puke, im just up Ararimu, if you want to ride sometime

Have you been 100km/h for more than a couple mins though? lol. It doesnt bother me that much really, just i can imagine it tiring me out after a few hours of it...

Ahhh there is a big difference between 80 and 100, at 80 its comfortable, at 100 you feel like your going to blow off the seat lol.

Im not really...I technically got mine second hand, it got traded in two weeks after the first owner bought it, and with only 200km on the clock so most of it has already been done...

Plus there was something i read on here about putting the engine under load to seat in the ring seals....kind of made sense to me lol

Yeah load is good, but not too much load. The book says not to go past half throttle for the first 800ks, and then 3/4 for the next 800, but you do need to vary your speed, which is the loading/unloading of the bearings and all that.

First ride in the rain tonight.. it's not nice! The one leak in my gear I had.. wet spot between the legs! HORRIBLE. Aside from that and tinted visors being no good for riding at night in the rain.. it was alright.

Still not so great at getting my feet up onto the pegs quickly when taking off though..

I hear you loud and clear!!! I was the same in the respect I never considered riding a bike...but now I wish I had done like 10 or 15 years ago - feel like I missed out lol
