    Went through the Maungatapu yesterday and the old house has had the tin ripped off the windows and even the window frames broken

    There are some real arseholes around.

    That is the sort of shit that get things closed off eh, not good at all.

    Last time I went through there was in the truck, it was about 40 degs and still, we all foolishly jumped into a a small side stream feeding into the Pelorous (sp)

    I swear to this day that the at 5 deg water broke all my ribs and stole my tiddle

    They shoulda called me Jesus cos I walked on water gettin out of that

    And where's that clay cave on the dry weather ??
    or do I just ride round with my eyes closed
    Managed to shoot out to Hori bay on the way home from Takaka yesterday evening ,what a fantastic place for a ride , didnt do any exploring though we were 2up and running late ,just a stroll on the beach and away again

    Neat! The 4T XR lofts the front off the throttle in the midrange much nicer than the 2T. Set up for the lanky Nordie everything seemed to be where I could reach it.

    Needs front brake sorting (or we need to eat more spinach) and the improved front end is now showing up the rear.

    (or were you asking about the orienteering?)

    You think the brakes are bad now, wait till you get them wet. Drum brakes are ungood.

    Anyone up for a loop of the waimea west mx track tomorrow after work (is this allowed?), if its a "no go" i might go for a quick spin up old coach rd to test some suspension settings if anyone wants to join me.

    Just put a 14 tooth (from 16) front sprocket on, 3rd gear wheelies are no longer an issue bring on the 6 hr
