Mate could you make me some apehangers to go with those?

I went for a blat round the forest in the rain for an hour or so today. Shit I had fun. The KLR was just great & it's easier somehow in the rain (apart from clay of course)

Funnily enough I was thinking of getting some higher risers for mine toady as well as figuring how to shift the footpegs back.

Went for a ride round the block to shake the water off after giving the beast a clean.

    Does that count??
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Been away up North all week (in the Pug with the famile) so no riding. Weather was absolute bollocks anyway, I pitied the fools I saw getting drenched. I didn't get passed by a single bike, such pussies.
Cased out some great central NTh Island roads for the next trip.
Ben, you been playing on the lathe again, nice bar clamps.....is them made from solid billet?

Just took the re-engined GB out for its first ride. Smoooth, but the gearchange is very clunky. It was fine when I test-rode it on the parts bike, so I'm going to swap out the gearchange lever mechanism and see what happens. I think that was Nordie I saw as well on Main road stoke/Waimea Rd?

I'm thinking maybe the clutch needs a bit of an adjust. And the clutch cable might need a bit of WD40 down it. Shed night things!

Thats a bit clever! I find that the speedbumps up there slow me down too much to make the detour worth it though?

BTW I intend to be at the protest ride on saturday with a mate, anyone else coming?

    I'm still undecided........
Go to Greymouth and get bored watching racing, but it'd be a good ride
Talk Mrsjatz into letting me take the Ten for a pre DB looksee
    Go to the protest ride
Orrrr......stay home and weed my spud patch

    Decisions, decisions, *sigh*

Either take the speedbumps at the gutter or get air.

    Depends on the bike.

possibly the protest should have been held on a date when a lot of motocyclists were in town and not in greymouth. Just a thought.

    I'll keep an eye out.
