short of enjoying scenery and doing a ride with your loved one, its the pits :P

but all good, complete with a ring a ding ding round a corner at start just before manga tap track which resulted 1 sore leg and 1 sore arm and a monkey ontop of me who had 1 v sore leg

A nice torquey bike with the right weight distribution an it's sweet.
The smoothest ride I've done through the Maunga was 2-up.

yer, maybe it would have been better on the 650 lol, 125 2stroke probably a bit touchy and lacking in space :X!!!

you are all a bunch of slack turds

If any of you slack turds are coming up for the CCA in MArch - why don't you take an extra couple of days and do some of the cool other stuff we have up this way?

This slack turd (slurd?) will be there. I'll see if I can get some time off as the boss is a hard bastard.

    I'm Ba-a-a-a-a-aaaaaaaaaaaack!!

Finally got the bike back together today, been for a short strop up to the top of the Whangamoa's tonight. She's running really crisp

I've also had a communiqué from CollieDog (Blenheim) who is keen to meet up for some rides, esp. Rainbow/Molesworth on 1st/2nd Jan.

In the coming weeks, I'd like to re-visit Mahakipawa Reserve, Wairoa Gorge, and spend some time doing some gnarly stuff in Sharlands/Hira - gotta get back in to the swing of things on the big beast, in preparation for the Tekapo Tamer. Sing out if you want to join in.
    Cheers,
    Colin

I rode over the whangamoas this arvo as well, over to Okiwi bay. Weather was miserable when I went over, vis was terrible on the high bits on the way to Okiwi. Cleared right up when I got back through Hira.

The GB's fork Seals are doing their job BTW (beers your way once I turn 18!) unfortunately the exhaust rattle is getting worse - might be time to swap to the straight-through with a baffle o'corse

I'm interested, will have to negotiate a leave pass.

Sunday 3rd, the plan is to ride the Maungatapu in the morning to meet colliedog at Pelorus, returning over the M to go watch the Beach Racing at Rabbit Island (starts mid day and runs to maybe 8pm).
    Cheers,
    Colin

    Open invite!

Beach Racing practice starts 2pm, racing 3pm to approx. 8pm. I've also got a lunch to go to (12-2pm) so will need to be leaving NSN by 9:00a, Pelorus for coffee 10-10:30, leaving 90mins to return by 12 with some fossicking about.

If you want to meet at my place a few minutes earlier, I'll put a pot of coffee on?
    Cheers,
    Colin

Not sure but pretty easy on it. You working? We could arrange it for your day off. WW may be allowed out of his cage too.

Colin there are some pics up of you on the adv rider thread which I thought are pretty good (for a bad amateur anyway)
