Well..... despite the long wait for our latte's in Takaka that was a good ride out to Collingwood for a hot chocolate and a pie.
with a small detour too the Anaweka river on the way...

    Padmei's Dakar moment

Heading back up to the Turimawiwi river, Padmei had just got perilously close to taking a swim with his bike funniest thing I saw all day actually

    Looking back towards the Turimawiwi

Coming back across the Anatori, it was deeper at high tide when we went down

Good pics Jatz. i don't like the 'lets laugh at padmei' theme tho - is that cos Gonzo had it all over the Big during the beach race????

Absolutely aawesome ride in a spectacular setting. I'll write a little RR in my Adv thread some time this week.

It is such a cool place that I think we'll cook up a weekend rideout for the out of towners to get down & experience a taste of Tasman .

Were you turning your headlight on and off into and through Richmond?

Cause if you weren't then you have a problem...

That's what you get when you forget your camera

I do like the Dakar shot though

At low tide the beach and dunes would be even more betterer.

It'd almost be worth suffering knobblies on the seal just to play in the dunes...
