I don't see why not...... so long as all the roads were downhill and your luggage was nothing more than a meusli bar and a small bottle of water

    Nice one...
Leave the water out, less weight, 1 litre = 1 KG, enough for 2 muesli bars then I can ride further...

    tail wind might help too

@ Willdat..... Wot zeRax said..... I think ? Spend a bit of coin and get a modern DR250, say mid 90's or get a 350/400. ride it to your abilities and pretty soon you'll be NEEDing a 690

I reckon you should get it.

If there is any problems with it, I have a mate who bought one for $800 & it turned out to be a bit rooted with unobtainable parts & ended up costing him heaps so you could use the parts off that.

    No wait - hang on......

Just a brief interlude from Wills wheeling & dealing.

I went for a cruise up the Maitai on Schmidtty (such a nice evening shame not to) & the lil gate up Linton Hill was open. so I had to have a little looksie. Is the gate open all the time & is there much riding area for evening blasts? I only got to the top as I was worried the gate might be locked on dusk.

I find it bloody hard to find TDC sometimes. Agreed about the evening rides tho.
