Have also got most (everything minus the stem) of a 41mm KX125 USD front end if Woodman doesn't hurry up and have a gander at it for the KLR.

    Fantastic idea Topo.
used to have a 1990 model, swapped my gixxer for it. Only rode it twice so don't know a lot about them, hell I don't even know how they crash.

Don't have any bits, but I do have some kawasaki bits.

Sorry Fran I forgot about the usd forks, but still keen as on having a look.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Alrighty then, I'll give it a good clean tomorrow and put up a lit is thing's that will be needed to get the bike sorted. I probably should say that it will never be a "like new" bike again but should prove to be a bit of fun.

At this stage i can say that it is a decent runner and but needs a new clutch basket/plates which i think will be the only real expense which i've got a few leads on at the moment.

a new front brake caliper is very high on the priority list if anyone's got a spare one (can swap it for a 6 piston one of a hyabusathingy).

Use the 6 piston one on the kdx.
    What could possibly go wrong?

So if we offset the wheel by 20mm, everything will be sweet?

    Hanmer w/e

When was the Hanmer / Rainbow w/e planned for? I was intending to go but we've had our on-call roster swapped around to give the CHC blokes a break. Will be stuck close to home 14-20 March.
    Cheers,
    Colin

    Hanmer Weekend of the 25th-26th.

Down via Rainbow on Sat and play around a little.
    Back via Molesworth on Sun.

    Or...

Down on Fri, play around Sat, back Sun?

    Assuming accommodation can be sorted.
Probably be plenty of tent area at the campground but dunno about cabins.
I may be forced to call first
