Just looked at my heart rate during the race.

Nice and consistent, 160-170bpm for a lap and a half...
And then it dropped to 150 on a 200m stretch going down the downhill, over the soccer field to the pool. 100m later it was 208bpm.

I knew I wasn't feeling good but not how bad it actually was!

I think it was good to pull the pin when I did

Just got back from a ride. Mount Duppa, only ever been up there once, very gorsey. Ended up at the forgotten Whangamoa bit and found some cool tracks off that. Then went to Hori bay and was havin fun ridin up and down the tracks when the rear end kept kickin me in the ass on down hills. Rear shocky blown again= fuck. Got back on the road for ride home and the bike is pogo-ing along all the way home, quite relaxing really but was a bit weird over the Whangamoas.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

I've still got that KDX shock which i reckon would fit after swapping the springs, bring the old girl in one day for work and ill swap it over during the day.

Did you find the road off the end of Last Road?

Thanks for the offer, but I just had a couple of steinys and my resistance was low and ordered a Ricor IAS shocky. They are on special at the moment so i saved $340USD using Mrs Woodmans dress shopping logic.

No idea. Unless you mean the new road where we manhandled the bikes over that ditch that day. Cos if you do thats the cool track

    Good logic.

I'm tempted by the Ricor DR shock but the current shock isn't dead yet...

Nope. It's off one of the trails somewhere. It's actually on the map as Last Rd.

No-one in the pool this year or last year. If someone did, then the splash would cause carnage for the next people through though
