We gotta do a few evening rides before summer ends - who's in? What time suits? I guess over Moutere / Wairoa would suit the outlanders.
Third House is on the cards for this weekend.

    My strimmer needs revs too.

    NADS Strimmer Garage Night.

About time we did some evening rides again.
See if the Chateau Rhubarb pizza's are still good.

Are the NADS not going out and falling off, getting lost, breaking down enough lately that the thread has turned to mountain bikes?

Time to take the frilly knickers off and get on the motorsickles I think.

I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Nope missed it, bet it's not as loud as my roota with the carbon pipe on

I'm only just back on the bike with my dodgy knee so i'll only really be there for the bench racing but how about ending up at cheatu rhubarb about 7ish? (anyone know what time its open?)
I'll make my way from mot via neudorf/jacobs etc but will just be cruzing

Had a wee accident at work that resulted in damaging my medial ligament in my knee, got of the crutches mid week and can now ride the bike but can't do anything too silly. So i'll really just be crusing - especially with my road tires on.

    On Stuff this morning

    RIP

A 56-year-old motorcyclist from Takaka has died in a collision with a car driven by an 80-year-old Nelson man.

The crash happened at 5.30pm yesterday at Appleby, near Richmond, at the intersection of State Highway 60 and Cotterell Rd, known as Pea Viner Corner.

Detective Senior Sergeant Wayne McCoy, of Nelson, said the silver hatchback car was coming out of Cotterell Rd and indicating to turn right to head towards Nelson, and collided with the motorcyclist who was heading towards Motueka.

The motorcyclist was riding a 2005 Harley Davidson Sportster. There was no indication of speeding, he said.

The deceased was expected to be identified by next of kin today.

Serious crash investigators and detectives are investigating the crash. The vehicles will be examined tomorrow and witnesses are being interviewed.

Only thing the Mail got wrong is the bit about "coming out of Cotterell and heading toward Nelson", he'd be turning left and be nowhere near the bike.
