SO ------- Some of the info could be "commercially sensitive"

Could always organise a slide/promotion evening @ the DUSTYBUTT, if Ryan & the gang agreed.

    (Saturday night @ Alex ?????)

    Allthough --- I don,t think I,ll be there.

    Cheers AL.

    Good fun?

I arrived home late so cruised out to Hori bay.
The only ones out there were a couple on a 1200GS - they even had deck chairs with them.

Next time, I'm driving the GPS

Woody decided to leave the KLR at home and take a trampoline...

We had firemen yelling at us

We met some cool farmers, rode some fast roads, slow roads and wrong roads...

    A proper adventure

Yes, twas a good ride. Got lost somewhere but we all did some tracks we had never done before.

The trampoline got bouncier and bouncier as the oil spewed out of my rear shocky. Hilarious grinny fun on gravel corners, the back just wanted to keep on coming round yeehaaa.

    cheers guys.

I went for a wee ride too, but yous fullahs wouldn't be interested.... I did a bit of gravel, got bored in the Wairau vlly, ate a pie, saw a deer and didn't get a ticket. Also got a little bit cold and wet...
And saw a motobike accident on the new bypass.

it was a road bike and it happened about 20 mins before I got home not much help aye ?
I saw a couple of cars on the side of the road, one with hazard lights on, and a chick I know standing by the road. So I spun 'round to see if all was o.k. It was, it was then I noticed the bike down a bank and a couple of people in the bottom of a small gulley. It was just as well it happened right in front of my friend or it could have been a while before it was discovered. Apparently the bike just lost control of the back end (mecanical failure?) on a straight piece of road.
Gotta be careful riding alone when no one knows where you are, or when you'll be back

Well, I've got photos of a helicopter pulling a dead guy out from the pines this side of the Centre of NZ, pulling a lady with a broken leg out, and now with a monsoon bucket fighting a large blaze there...

Helicopter has landed in the park behind our house to refuel and I think, ferry a load of fire fighters up there. There's no easy or quick vehicle access.
There's a couple of lights entering the trees from the top left...

A couple of fire engines have gone up via Bay View Rd way.

Saw a small headlight leave via the bottom right. Pushbike by the speed of it...

The helicopter took the edge off the fire and now it's the turn of the guys on the ground.
