Found a completely new track, a couple of half new tracks, a dodgy track, some impossible tracks and lots of blackberry...

    It wasn't dodgy!
Well, it was dodgy to ride, but it was the right track to link the old 4-cross track to Isolated Spur Rd. Next time I'm going further

The TT was geared a bit high too. Seemed OK for most stuff, but cough stalled it a few times so dropped it back from a 15t to 14t. Much nicer...

    Molesworth update

Now re-opened (due to recent rain), but will close for the season on April 7th.

Went up the right branch of th Wairoa Gorge today. Very overgrown, but passable. Turned back about 3/4 of the way up because there was a 50/50 chance of the bike sliding into a ditch and I couldn't be assed lifting it out.

The creeks on the way in were deeper than I thought and with bigger slippier rocks than I remember, but got through okay, but on the way out, me and the bike took a rest in the middle of a creek. The motor sucked in a bit of water but started eventually blowing clouds of steam. Rode a few more metres and got stuck in some deep water with big round slippery boulders and took another dunk. The bike didn't suck in any water this time but I was soaked from head to toe. Then did the Ben Nevis loop to dry out.

Good wee ride, and I have my mojo back.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Today was going to be a toss up between Right Branch of the Wairoa and Hira.
    Hira won.

Recent rain + Right Branch = lots of water in lots of crossings...

I do like that Right Branch though

Think I've got footage of CrazyFrog's KTM going under there too...

    2 1/2 hours yesterday + 3 hrs today = knackered...

    I went for a ride too ......
To the super market Its o.k. I did a bit of gravel (driveway) and a river crossing (bridge over the moutere inlet) ....
And took the life of my flatmate Alex. I'm not proud of it but he was doing poos in the warmer drawer
God I need to get out more

I rode all the way out to Mapua with lillest pony. We cruised past the Harley & Triumph riders at the bar & took up residence at the ice cream shop - Yeah we're badass

Summer is drawing to a close. We'll all be wondering during those cold days why we didn't ride more when we had the chance

That's what I thought. Bloody humans. Now they're celebrating about it.
